Our Campground

FACILITIES AND INFORMATION

Cherokee Campground is set in a natural (rustic/woods) environment providing a "camping" atmosphere for large, modern motor homes, 5th wheels, and travel trailers.

Recent changes such as cutting trees, clearing underbrush, additional street lights, and rebuilding the bath house, laundry, and recreation room (after a major fire) has invited many positive comments from our guests.

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLE: GOLF CART, MOTORCYCLE, 4-WHEELER, ETC. ALLOWED AROUND THE LAKE, EXCEPT FOR OFFICE PERSONNEL.

Anyone discovered around the lake with a vehicle will be dismissed from the campground immediately. No questions asked.

Anyone discovered driving or riding in or on a vehicle will be dismissed from the campground immediately. No questions asked.

No one allowed around the lake after dark, for any reason.

ALL OVER NIGHT CAMPERS (BOTH 30 AND 50 AMP) ARE PLACED ON THE LARGER PULL-THROUGH SITES -- BASED ON AVAILABILITY.

RATES BASED ON 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN

CHILDREN ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

EACH ADDITIONAL ADULT OR CHILD IS $2.00 PER DAY

By law, we must collect a lodging tax for 6 months (180 days). After 6 months (180 days), we do not collect the lodging tax. Therefore, the rates listed above reflects the rate both with and without the lodging tax.
